Cashier paper is a paper roll specifically designed for cash registers, used to record checkout details and provide customers with shopping lists. For different types of printers, the types of cash register paper vary. For example, ordinary needle printers can use 1 to 3 layers of ordinary printing paper, while thermal head printers require special thermal printing paper.

purpose

Cashier paper is mainly used for cash registers, POS machines, and bill printing in industries such as retail, catering, and supermarkets. It provides transaction vouchers for merchants and customers, facilitating the recording and querying of transaction information.

material

Double adhesive paper: All are single-layer, with no special treatment on the paper surface, relying on color tape to achieve text printing, suitable for ordinary needle printers.

Thermal paper: also a single layer, coated with a thermal chemical coating on the paper surface, and colored by the printing effect of a laser thermal head. Its characteristics are that no additional printing consumables are required, and the paper surface is relatively smooth, making it easy to leave marks.

Carbonless paper: It contains at least two or more layers, with the first layer requiring color development through the pressure of a needle printer, while the other layers rely on printing pressure for direct color development. It is commonly used in scenarios that require multiple bills.

Self sensing paper: composed of one or more layers, it can be colored with the pressure of a needle printer without the need to install a ribbon. The first layer is called self sensing paper, and the remaining layers are similar to ordinary carbonless paper.
