The express bag you threw away has been turned into a 'city in the sky' by college students

Students have been busy for nearly a week for this environmental art exhibition. The reporter saw on site that during the lunch break, many college students were very enthusiastic. They brought express packaging bags and cardboard boxes to the exhibition, and even received small gifts by recycling them on the spot. The college students also experienced the newly launched biodegradable packaging bags made from corn by Best Group on site.

It is reported that Best Group has recently released a new environmentally friendly PE bag called "Nbag", which replaces plastic from petroleum sources with plant-based starch. Each environmentally friendly plastic bag used will reduce plastic usage by 30%, and the overall cost can be comparable to ordinary PE express bags. Taking the average weight of 10g per bag currently used by Best Express as an example, with 300 million express bags and a total plastic consumption of 3000 tons per year, using environmentally friendly PE bags can save about 900 tons of plastic consumption. Moreover, according to the life cycle assessment of express bags, the annual greenhouse gas emissions will be reduced by about 903 tons, which is equivalent to the carbon dioxide content absorbed by 50000 trees throughout the year.

On the one hand, green development is an unshirkable responsibility of every enterprise. On the other hand, for individuals, environmental protection is actually a simple thing in life. "At the event, Sun Yi, deputy captain of the Hangzhou Environmental Volunteer Service Corps, told reporters that express delivery has become a very important part of economic life. In this context, enterprises are actively exploring the use of technology to promote the greening of express packaging.

Sun Yi suggests that for consumers, demand should come first, green consumption should be adopted, and the generation of garbage from express packaging bags should be minimized as much as possible from the source. In addition, actively promoting the recycling of express bags, especially in areas such as campuses, parks, and office buildings, attempting to separate and consolidate express packaging bags, exploring the possibility of recycling and reusing them during the process. Garbage or resources may depend on whether they are placed in the right place, "said Sun Yi.
